“While working as a nurse I noticed an unattractive varicose vein that caused a lot of pain and swelling. When I considered treating the problem I assumed that the procedure would be painful, expensive and would require a long recovery time. After discussing my options with Dr. Peck I scheduled the procedure which was only an hour and a half office visit. The doctor, nurse and ultrasound tech did a great job of keeping me informed and comfortable throughout the process. I came out of it with three very small puncture sites and was back to work the very next day. A month later I went to Disneyland and walked miles. And, I looked great in shorts. In my case, the procedure was considered an office visit so I only paid my co-pay. I’m so glad I did it. Dr, Peck, his nurse, the ultrasound tech, and the receptionist were all great. Dr. Quaid answered all my questions, not with promises but with a straightforward explanation of the procedure, which turned out to be just as he said. “After suffering from recurring, painful wounds in my right ankle my wound care physician, Dr. Olsen, suggested I visit The Vein and Laser Center for treatment of my venous disease. At my consult with Dr. Peck I was diagnosed with “venous insufficiency” and it was recommended that this be treated by the use of a laser. I did experience some pain for a few days after the treatment, but my wound finally began to heal. I currently have no pain, no wounds, and my legs feel great.
